For small businesses bringing in AI tools, new software or the cloud

You bought the tool. Now get your team to actually use it.

The Small Business Tech Change Toolkit is a ready-to-use plan for the people side of a tech change. Plan it, explain it, train for it, and prove it was worth the money. Built for teams of 5 to 100 with no HR, IT or change department.

  • Six-step method
  • About 2 hours a week
  • Runs in meetings you already hold

One-time purchase. Licensed for your whole business, unlimited projects.

Launch prices through January 31, 2027: 20% off the toolkits, 10% off Complete + Coaching
The real problem

The software usually works. The rollout is what stalls.

Most new tools don't fail because of the technology. They fail because people don't use them, use them halfway, or quietly keep the old way.

Sound familiar?

  • You're paying for licenses that few people open.
  • Half the team is on the new system. The other half is still on the spreadsheet.
  • People worry AI will replace them, so they avoid it or use it quietly.
  • Six months later, someone asks: "Why did we buy this?"

You're not alone.

66%said they use AI
70%said they need more training to use it effectively

April 2026 Thryv survey of 561 US small business decision-makers (Business Wire, June 25, 2026).

This isn't a tool problem or a people problem. It's a plan problem, and a plan is something you can start this week.

Why now

Your team's habits are forming right now, with or without you.

Every week a new tool is in place, your team decides how to use it. Some go all in. Some work around it. Some wait to see if you're serious. Where you don't set the norms, the vacuum does.

You can set them in one 25-minute conversation inside a team meeting you already hold. The Manager Guide gives you the script, and your team writes a one-page Team Agreement together. (The Complete kit adds a 9-slide kickoff deck.)

The toolkit also gives you two promises to make, because people adopt what they trust:

Promise 1

We'll tell you the honest truth about what's changing.

Promise 2

We'll never count usage in performance reviews.

What makes it different

Built for how small teams actually change

Measures changed work, not logins

Usage isn't adoption. Track what work is now done differently, and what that's worth in hours or dollars.

Runs on meetings you already have

No new committee. Most steps fit inside a weekly team meeting or a one-on-one.

Puts managers at the center

People watch their direct manager, not the announcement. The Manager Guide gives each team lead 12 clear steps.

Expects the dip

Things often get slower before they get faster. The plan prepares you, so a slow week doesn't look like failure.

What's inside

Everything you need, written in plain English

Every file is editable. Fill in the blanks, cut what you don't need, and go.

What you'll have in hand when you've worked through it

  • A one-page Change Brief: why you're changing and what success looks like
  • Seven ready-to-edit messages for your team
  • A Team Agreement your team wrote together
  • A training plan and a go-live checklist
  • With Complete: a dated rollout plan, a 30/60/90 scorecard, and a one-page value report with a keep, fix or stop decision
How it works

Six steps. About 8 weeks to go-live. 90 days to make it stick.

About 2 hours a week for the person leading it. Each step tells you what to do and which template to fill in.

  1. Decide

Name the problem, what success looks like, and your go-live date.

    Uses: Change Brief.

    Complete adds: readiness check.

  2. Map

List who's affected and how much. Pick one or two champions: curious, respected and patient people who learn first and help others.

    Uses: the Playbook.

    Complete adds: people impact map.

  3. Communicate

Tell people why before what. Managers hold the 25-minute kickoff.

Uses: Manager Guide, Communication Plan, Team FAQ.

    Complete adds: kickoff deck.

  4. Train

Hands-on practice on real tasks before go-live.

    Uses: Training Plan.

Complete adds: role cheat sheet, training tracker.

  5. Launch

Go live with a clear checklist and a plan for pushback.

Uses: Go-Live Checklist, Pushback Conversation Guide.

  6. Make it stick

Check in at 30, 60 and 90 days. Turn off the old way on a set date. Then decide: keep, fix or stop.

Uses: the Playbook's "Proving the value" page.

Complete adds: 30/60/90 scorecard, Value Capture Kit.

Short on time? The Playbook gives you four essentials: fill in the Change Brief; explain why before what; give hands-on practice before go-live; turn off the old way on a set date.
Who it's for

Is this right for you?

It's for you if

  • You run, or help run, a business of about 5 to 100 people.
  • You're bringing in an AI tool, like ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini.
  • Or you're switching core software (CRM, accounting, POS, scheduling) or moving to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  • You don't have an HR, IT or change department to lead the people side.
  • You're the owner, or the office or operations manager they handed it to.

It's not for you if

  • You need help choosing or configuring a tool. This kit covers the people side, not the tech setup.
  • You're a large organization with a dedicated change team. For that, book a consulting conversation.

Product names are examples only. This kit isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any software company.

Prosci®-certified change management consultant

Hi, I'm Andi Grabemeyer.

I specialize in the human side of AI adoption: the habits, the conversations and the trust that decide whether a new tool gets used.

I've led the people side of AI rollouts at large organizations. One AI assistant deployment I supported reached 85% adoption.

Small businesses don't have change teams. So I rebuilt the method I use with large clients for a team of 5 to 100 people and about 2 hours a week.

Questions, answered

Which option should I choose?

Choose Essentials if you mainly need the plan, the scripts and the messages. Choose Complete if you also want a dated rollout plan, ready-made Canva materials and a way to show what the change was worth. Add Coaching if you want Andi to look at your plan with you.

Not sure your team needs this yet?

Take the free Team Tech Readiness Check: 12 statements, about 3 minutes. You’ll get your score and the steps to focus on by email, plus occasional emails from Andi. Unsubscribe anytime. The Readiness Check opens soon.

How does the coaching call work?

After checkout, your order email includes a link to book a 60-minute call on Andi’s calendar. You’ll answer a few questions when you book, including your order number, and get an automatic confirmation and reminders. If you later hire Grabemeyer Consulting for an engagement that starts within 6 months of your purchase, what you paid for Complete + Coaching is credited toward it.

Do I need to be technical?

No. This kit is about people, not settings. If you can run a team meeting and edit a Word document, you can use it.

How much time does it take?

About 2 hours a week for the person leading it. Most of the work happens inside meetings you already hold.

Is it only for AI tools?

No. It covers AI tools, core software switches (CRM, accounting, POS, scheduling) and moves to the cloud. The Playbook includes a playbook for each.

We're only 6 people. Is this overkill?

No. Start with the Playbook's four essentials and skip what you don't need. A team of six still needs to know why you're changing, what's different and what "done" looks like.

We already rolled it out and it flopped. Is it too late?

No. Treat it as a fresh start and run the six steps with what you know now. The Pushback Conversation Guide helps you hear what got in the way.

Will this help me pick which tool to buy?

No. It starts once you've chosen a tool, or narrowed it down. It helps your team adopt it.

Do I need Excel or Canva?

No. The workbooks open in Excel or Google Sheets. The Canva templates work with a free Canva account. The Word templates also open in Google Docs.

Can I reuse it and share it with my managers?

Yes. It's licensed for your business, with unlimited projects inside it. Share it with anyone in your business; please don't share it with other companies.

Is this legal, HR or IT security advice?

No. It's general guidance on leading people through change. Check vendor terms, and get professional advice where your situation needs it.

Can I use the toolkit with my clients?

Not with the standard license, which covers your own business. Consultants, MSPs and IT providers can buy the Practitioner License ($597 one time, including 12 months of updates) to use it with clients. Renewal for updates after that is optional at $179 a year.

What's your refund policy?

Within 14 days of purchase, email andi@grabemeyer.com with your order number and a sentence on what didn't fit. If you like, I'll suggest a quick way to make it work; either way, you can still choose a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. If your planning call has already taken place, the difference between Complete + Coaching and Complete isn't refundable. A refund ends your license, so please delete the files and any copies. One refund per business. Please contact me before filing a dispute with your bank; I'll make it right.

The tools have arrived. Now decide which habits your team ends up with.

Help your team make the new tools part of how you work, and prove they were worth it.

Launch price from $48 through January 31, 2027. By purchasing, you agree to the License Terms.
