Andi Grabemeyer is an independent consultant with expertise in community building, development, human service and employment program development and management, and strategic planning. 

A results oriented executive with a proven track record of accomplishment and leadership in non-profit associations, issues management and public relations,  she is dynamic and well organized.  Highly emotionally intelligent, she deals effectively with complex problems, issues and challenges.  Her experience in both the public and private sectors as a program designer, project manager, grant writer and fundraiser have enabled her to design and implement programs, help organizations improve the quality of their services and their reputation.

Previously she has worked with The State of Illinois, Habitat for Humanity, Chicago TechWorks, the Chicago Tech Academy,  and Heartland Alliance which has given her extensive experience in designing, implementing and assessing the effectiveness of economic security, human service and educational programs. She also worked as a district scheduler and caseworker at Congressman Fred Upton’s office in Michigan and served as Communications Director for State Representative Al Pscholka in his campaign for State Representative in Michigan . 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and African Studies from Michigan State University and an Masters of Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management.

She thoroughly believes that the work of helping people become successful in self-determined ways is critical to ending poverty and suffering. She believes in the ideals of humility, honesty, respectfulness for participants and co-workers, responsiveness, and innovation. She believes in creating, testing, and scaling innovative flexible solutions to complex problems focused on measurable outcomes.
